This section contains the information you need to remain compliant with Mastercard requirements as new ones emerge.
Mastercard Send transactions require three elements:
- Transaction Type Identifier – This field indicates the type of Mastercard Send transaction you want to process.Â
- Recipient Data – These fields include data of the receiver of the transaction.Â
- Sender Data – These fields include data of the sender (merchant) of the transaction.

Enabling MoneySend
The following data should be provided when you enable Mastercard MoneySend on your account with us.

Mastercard Payment of Winnings (POW) on the Barclay’s platform facilitates the transmission of funds for gaming merchants to pay winnings to customers in near real-time across multiple payment networks.
Required fields
This section contains the information you need to remain compliant with Mastercard requirements as new ones emerge. This includes sending additional information in the request when processing gaming transactions on Mastercard credits via Barclays.
Mastercard POW transactions require a separate MC POW merchant ID (MID) for authorization as well as certain recipient data and sender data elements.

- These fields include data of the sender (merchant) of the transaction.
- On behalf of gaming merchants, we add the sender data-field items.
Note: While onboarding with us, be sure to give these details correctly to your account manager.

- Purpose of Payment – Required for cross-border transactions into Canada, Australia, Chile, Columbia, Mexico, Argentina, Bangladesh, Egypt, and India.
