Delay Pay

Integrate with the Delay Pay solution to provide a loan as a payment option and run loan transactions. The Delay Pay solution consists of two APIs:

• Payfields API - To add a button to your payment page to offer a loan as a payment option.
• Transactions API - To run loan sales and follow-on transactions such as void and refund.

The transaction flow changes depending on the transaction type. 

Credit transaction or check transaction

Loan transaction

1. The customer selects the loan payment option on your payment page.
2. Your payment page loads an iFrame for TUA’s application form, which the customer completes.
3. Our gateway returns a temporary token in the response.
4. The POS sends the temporary token in a loan sale request.
5. The POS handles the response from our gateway.

• If you have not integrated with the Payfields API, see the New Integration section.

Existing Payfields integration

If you have previously configured your payment page, complete the following steps:

1. Add a button to your payment page to offer a loan as a payment option. 
   Note: Because you have an existing Payfields integration, you need to complete only step 5. 
2. Integrate with the Transactions API to run loan transactions. 

New integration

1. Create headers to authenticate your requests.
2. Set up the pay fields and program your POS to handle callback function responses.
3. Integrate with the Payfields API to run credit and check transactions.
4. Integrate with the Transactions API to run loan transactions.
