Payfields API - Running Credit and Check Transactions

Note: This section of the documentation describes how to program the POS to run credit and check transactions. To program the POS to run loan transactions, go to Running Loan Transactions.

Integrate with the Payfields API to add pay fields to an e-commerce payment page. You can use the Payfields API to:

• Process credit and check transactions
• Save card details to our vault for future transactions
• Customize the pay fields to match the merchant's branding
• Offer finance options through our Delay Pay solution

1. Set up the pay fields and program your POS to handle callback function responses.
2. Program POS to:
   1. Create HTTP headers and credentials to authenticate your requests.
   2. Create your requests for running credit and check transactions.
   3. Handle responses from our gateway.
3. Test your integration.

Important: We regularly update our API, so make sure that your integration is flexible enough to handle new response fields from our gateway. When building your integration, do not hard-code the sequence of fields that you expect us to return in the response.
