PayFields

The PayFields API is a RESTful API that you can use to add pay fields to your ecommerce payment page. After you integrate with the PayFields API, you can process transactions, save card details to our vault, and customize your pay fields to match your branding. 

To integrate with the PayFields API you must understand the following:

• HTML
• JavaScript
• CSS
• HTTPS
• JSON

Important: Do not hard code the order of the containers or fields. Your integration must be flexible enough to handle new response fields because we regularly update the PayFields API.

The transaction flow depends on whether the customer uses the keypad to manually enter their payment details or they use their saved payment details. 

1. Set up the pay fields and program your POS to handle callback function responses.
2. Program your POS to:
   • Create HTTP headers and credentials to authenticate your requests.
   • Create your requests for running credit and check transactions.
   • Handle responses.
3. Test your integration.
