Running Follow-On Transactions

This API is a RESTful API that is secured with TLS version 1.2.

Integrate with this API to do the following:

• Run a refund linked to to a previous sale
• Run a void on the following transactions:
  • A credit sale
  • A debit sale
  • A credit refund
• View the details of a credit sale or credit refund
• View the details of a debit sale or debit refund

Note: If you don't know whether the transaction was credit or debit, use Viewing the Details of a Sale or Viewing the Details of a Refund.

1. Read Before You Begin.
2. Program your POS to:
   •     Create the headers to authenticate your requests.
   •     Create requests for the types of transactions you want to run.
   •     Handle the responses.
3. Test your integration.

Send the current version number of the API as the value for the X-GP-Version parameter in the header of your requests.

The current version of the API is 2021-04-08.
