Verify a payment card

Create a verification transaction.

Use the Verify endpoint to create a verification-only (zero amount authorization) for validating a customer’s card details—without charging their account. This is typically used to check that a card is valid and has not been reported lost or stolen, or to confirm account ownership prior to storing a card on file.

How it works:

You must submit a POST request with either the customer’s card details or a payment token (temporary or permanent).
The transaction amount must be set to 0.00.
Verification is recommended before initiating recurring payments or storing payment details for future use.
