Our PHP SDK is open source on GitHub. It offers a lightweight, developer-friendly wrapper around Global Payments' core technologies, making it easy to integrate your PHP application with our Card Not Present and Card Present APIs. With just a few lines of code, you can be up and running with transactions, reader interactions, and reporting.
Installing the SDK into your solution is usually done using Composer/Packagist.
Add the following to your composer.json file:
{
"require": {
"globalpayments/php-sdk": "2.0.0"
}
}Inside the application directory, run composer (from the command line):
composer update OR (depending on your server configuration) php composer.phar updateAdd a reference to the autoloader class anywhere you need to use the SDK:
require_once ('vendor/autoload.php');With the SDK now set up in your IDE, you will need to configure your authentication object in the SDK. Authentication is necessary for both testing your integration and using any of the payment features and services you build into your application with this SDK. Click on the link below to learn how.
