This solution is available in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
An embedded payments partner is an integrated software provider that connects to our API. With this type of partnership, you can offer end-to-end merchant services directly within your applications, while providing a cohesive and customized experience for your customers — without the overhead of becoming a registered payment facilitator.
While an embedded payments partner maintains the merchant relationship and user interface, we handle the backend processes, including compliance, settlement, and transaction processing. You then onboard the merchants into your partnership and provide an interface that allows them to manage their accounts, view reporting, and respond to disputes — all within your platform.
Unlike registered payment facilitators, you don’t need to register with a sponsor bank or handle regulatory due diligence directly. We take care of compliance, settlement, underwriting, and risk monitoring, so you can focus on building a great merchant experience.
As an embedded payments partner, you'll focus on:
We'll handle much of the regulatory aspects typically required of a registered payment facilitator, including:

To get started, contact our Integration Support team to request Partner-level Sandbox credentials.
We expect that you’ll run through some basic checks to make sure your integration works properly. But there are other types of questions that we’ll ask during the validation process that you may not have thought of — for example, whether your integration can handle expired or invalid access tokens and other errors, or whether the Reference field is populated with a unique value for every transaction. To help you think through your end-to-end solution, contact your account manager to schedule a “platform integration design” call.
If you’re integrating directly with our API or via an SDK to accept online payments (card not present), you’ll have to go through a validation process with us. As mentioned in the previous section, we’ll have some questions for you to make sure everything is in order.
To get the validation process started, please contact your relationship manager.
Once you’ve completed your partner agreement and integration validation, you’ll receive your Production credentials (an App ID and an App Key). These credentials are tailored to the capabilities you certified and signed up for (for example, Merchant Boarding, Transaction Processing, Tokenization, Disputes Management, and so on).
Use your Production credentials in the heading of API requests instead of what you used for testing in the Sandbox environment. You’ll also need to change your integration from the Sandbox endpoint to Production:
Sandbox: https://apis.sandbox.globalpay.com
Production: https://apis.globalpay.com
Now you can start boarding merchants. However, you’ll want to start slowly and test the first few transactions (see next section).
The final step is to do a little testing in Production and process a real transaction. It’s important to confirm that your integration works as expected and also that the merchant’s funds are deposited into the correct bank account. Once that’s been done, you’re good to go. Congratulations!
If you have any issues, our Integration Support team is here to help you and answer any questions.
Manage the entire funding lifecycle for your merchants.
Proactively monitor merchant limits and disputes.
