Our digital wallet integration allows businesses to support Apple Pay and Google Pay for secure, convenient, and fast payments. This improves the checkout experience and reduces friction across web, in-app, and in-store channels.

Google Pay

Google Pay allows customers to pay online using supported browsers or Android devices. It securely stores card information and generates a payment token containing the necessary data for processing.

We support Google Pay through its .NET, Java, PHP, and Node.js SDKs.
The Google Pay API documentation provides details on generating payment requests and tokens using the API.

Requirements

Google Pay is supported on the following browsers: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, Opera, and UCWeb's UC Browser.

Note: The payment page must be served over HTTPS with a domain-validated TLS certificate.

Processing a Google Pay payment token

When requesting a payment token using the Google Pay API, configure the payment providers details as follows:

Once you’ve implemented the necessary steps to generate payment tokens and successfully obtained one, you can pass it to one of our SDKs that supports Google Pay for processing.

Testing

Global Payments is not currently supported in the Google Pay Test Card Suite. However, you can test integration using one of the following methods:

Use real cards to generate sample tokens. The card will not be charged. For more information, see: Google Sample Tokens
Join the Google Pay Test Card Suite by creating a test account and joining the provided test group. For more information on this method, see Google Pay Test Card Suite.

Google Pay SDK sample request

Once you have a Google Pay sample token, you can prepare a sample charge for testing.
